Does laser engraving last forever?
One of the most frequent questions we receive is:
“What if it fades over time?”
And the answer is simple: it does NOT fade.
The laser engraving we use at Joyas Dina is not ink or paint, but a deep mark in surgical steel. It's like tattooing metal.
💧 We put it to the test: 2 weeks in salt water
I tested it myself. I left an engraved pendant submerged in salt water for 14 consecutive days.
The result?
Nothing changed. The engraving remained just as sharp, just as deep.
It didn't stain, rust, or lose its shine.

— Surgical steel is resistant to water, sweat, and daily use
— The laser not only engraves, it burns a microscopic layer of the steel

🔄 Can it get scratched?
Only if it is scraped with something harder than the steel itself (like a file or strong sandpaper). But under normal conditions (daily use, showers, beach, perfumes), the engraving remains intact for years.
